Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

MatViz is committed to making the Service usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Our conformance target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we review the app against that standard on an ongoing basis rather than treating accessibility as a one-time project.

This statement describes where we currently fall short of that target, what we're doing about it, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

2. Known limitations

The following areas do not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. These come from our most recent accessibility review (automated testing of our public pages plus a code review of signed-in pages). Each is listed with the specific gap and a target date for remediation.

  • Button contrast. Some gold buttons with white text (for example, the sign-up buttons on the plans page) do not have enough contrast between the text and the button color, which can make them hard to read. Target: within 90 days of the date below.
  • Keyboard focus on some search and text fields. A few fields, such as the search box and the add-a-wrestler form on the dashboard, do not show a visible outline when you move to them with the keyboard. Target: within 90 days of the date below.
  • Live scoring (/score/*, the scorer cockpit). The running match clock is announced to screen readers too often while it counts down, which can drown out other information. Target: within 90 days of the date below.
  • Signed-in areas. The dashboard, account, club, and video review pages have been reviewed from code but have not yet had a full hands-on test with a screen reader and keyboard, so some gaps may remain there. Target: within 90 days of the date below.

3. Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere in MatViz, tell us. We read every report and use it to prioritize fixes.

Email hello@matviz.com with the subject line "Accessibility". Please include the page or feature involved, the assistive technology and browser you were using, and what you expected to happen. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within a few business days.
