01Why is your tournament fee a flat $1.75 instead of a percentage?
Fee-stacking is the complaint. We charge $0 for the platform and $1.75 per wrestler — flat. The parent pays Stripe's card fee on their side. No percentage. No management fee. No surprises.
02Do parents really see the all-in price up front?
Yes. The receipt leads with the total, then breaks down entry fee, MatViz platform fee, and Stripe pass-through beneath it.
03What happens when I outgrow Club Starter?
You'll see a banner as you approach your roster cap. One click upgrades you to Program — your annotations, clips and history come with you. We prorate to the day.
04Do you have something for schools or districts?
Yes — schools, colleges, and districts get a sales-led quote so we can match your fiscal cycle, procurement, and compliance needs. Email hello@matviz.com from your school domain and we'll put together a plan.
05Are recordings ever truly deleted?
Cancellation makes club tools read-only and keeps your recordings — you don't lose film when you stop paying. Storage above plan caps blocks new uploads until you upgrade or free up space. Hard delete is user-initiated only.
06What about COPPA and wrestlers under 13?
Coaches and parents manage wrestler profiles, including data export and deletion, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable children's-privacy law.
07How do I cancel?
Two clicks in Settings → Billing. Annual plans get a renewal reminder 7–30 days out. You keep access through the period. No retention queue.
